Getting from Bruges to Brussels (and return)

Bruges can easily be reached from Brussels, Charleroi and Lille Airports. The only public transportation option is the train.

It takes slightly longer to get between Bruges and Brussels Airport (Bruxelles Nord Station). The standard single 2nd class ticket is €13.10 and the travel time is 1h 8 min.

Driving from Bruges to Brussels
Given the short distance between Bruges and Brussels , about 97 km, a very good option is to rent a car and drive. You’ll be driving on N337 and E40, which are not toll roads. The travel time is 1h 20 min.
Should you need to drive to/from Brussels Airport, the distance is 110 km and is easily covered in about 1h 10 min.
